Between a broken TV and a random comment about helpdesk pricing in Hacker News, Girish envisioned and co-founded Freshworks (then Freshdesk) in 2010 to create a better way to service and delight customers. What began as a single product focused on customer service is now a global company with a comprehensive suite of products.
Within 11 years, with backing from leading investors including Accel, Sequoia, Tiger Global Management, and CapitalG, Girish took Freshworks from an idea to a leading software company listed on Nasdaq (FRSH).
Girish has never lost his passion for building products that delight customers and their employees, nor for helping others along the way. He has invested in over 60 startups and is a founding member of SaaSBOOMi, Asia’s largest community of founders and product builders shaping India’s SaaS industry. With Together, Girish hopes to take his commitment to the Indian startup ecosystem to the next level.
